Search N Spa (TM) Hotel Hershey, PA April 29-May 2, 2008

The Next Search N Spa will be held April 29 - May 2, 2008 at Hotel Hershey, in Pennsylvania (PA). They have a Chocolate Spa, with numerous delicacies in body treatments.

I chose Hotel Hershey for a couple of reasons:

It’s a driving destination, which I enjoy as it’s nice to avoid the airports sometimes as winter delays can be hours and even days long.

I’ve stayed there before, for an Executive Women’s Golf outing, and loved the ambiance, the view of the Majestic Gardens, and the seminar. The golf wasn’t bad either.

Alternatively, negotiating a contract with them I must admit is not entirely enjoyable, as they charge for all things any savvy business traveller wants today, where other 5-star hotels have not (wireless, hooking my laptop up to a TV monitor that sits in the room 24/7). In today’s environment, must we charge for every single little aspect of life? So, we’re going to pay the wireless fee so you don’t have to.

Who should attend Search N Spa?

Experienced marketing executives or business owners, who are knowledge in search marketing but want to know more about how they’re spending or managing their dollars, or hundreds of thousands of dollars for that matter.

I lead the four day session, and we get right into YOUR campaign (organic, paid, analytics and social media) as an interactive discussion throughout the entire event. We analyze, strategize, compare to better compete, discuss, debate, and yes, even implement change if desired.

We are limiting this to women execs only, unless I hear an outcry from the men who are asking to sign up and pay, and only after you’ve read this entry in its entirety.

Here’s what I’ve observed after having done two Search N Spas:

Women business owners who are also mothers work around the clock, and want the following:

An experienced search marketing executive who can sit with them and review their campaigns with them personally

An opportunity to talk with other business owners about what has worked with them, and not

An opportunity to focus on what they need to do with their websites

Take advantage of the spa treatment (inclusive in Search N Spa)

Take advantage of the morning yoga sessions (inclusive)

Take advantage of nearly 12/4 access to a search marketing expert (4 days, almost 12 hours a day).

Men did not on average, in comparison to the women, take advantage of the yoga sessions - we think this is crucial to the let the body get invigorated before intense learning begins.
